En op\u00e9rant avec des dispositifs mobiles, diffus et interconnect\u00e9s ce mouvement se voit amplifi\u00e9, rejoignant ainsi les nouveaux paradigmes informatiques ubiquitaires de l\u2019\u00ab everyware \u00bb.<br \/>\nLes objets communicants sont appel\u00e9s \u00e0 quitter leur statut d\u2019objet en soi pour int\u00e9grer, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la miniaturisation, des situations de plus en plus diffuses dans l\u2019environnement, pour se greffer \u00e0 d\u2019autres objets quotidiens qui peuvent aussi \u00eatre port\u00e9s (\u00ab wearable technology \u00bb), ou pour s\u2019implanter dans notre corps m\u00eame. Si les premiers ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement mobiles, les seconds le sont puisqu\u2019ils nous accompagnent dans nos faits et gestes. Et tous peuvent communiquer entre eux pour former des r\u00e9seaux <em>ad hoc<\/em> en permanente reconfiguration. Ce sont donc nos sph\u00e8res publiques, professionnelles et priv\u00e9es qui vont \u00eatre irrigu\u00e9es de la sorte. Quelles formes artistiques donner \u00e0 ces dispositifs et \u00e0 leurs usages ? Entre \u00ab ambient intelligence \u00bb, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u2019acc\u00e8s et\/ou de contr\u00f4le, comment les artistes peuvent-ils se positionner au sein de ces nouvelles formes de r\u00e9seaux hybrides, s\u2019emparer de ces technologies mobiles et diffuses, les infiltrer, voire les exfiltrer ?<\/p>\n<p><em>Environment, performance, \u00ab in situ \u00bb, body art, \u2026 far from restricting itself to the object, contemporary art has long since conquered all sorts of spaces and situations. As mobile, diffuse and interconnected devices are increasingly operated, this development is still growing. Contemporary art seems to merge with the new informational ubiquitous paradigms of the \u00ab everyware \u00bb. The communicating objects are leaving their object status behind, as they reduce in size and invade more and more diffuse situations in our environment, by grafting onto ordinary objects that can also be worn (\u00ab wearable technology \u00bb) or even by being implanted in our bodies. If the first ones mentioned are not necessarily mobile, the second ones are, since they accompany us in each and every movement. And all of these are able to communicate and to create networks ad hoc, which are continually reconfigured. In this way, our public, professional and private spheres will soon be invaded. Which artistic form can be given to these devices and to their applications ? Il m\u00e8ne des recherches sur l\u2019ergonomie et les usages des technologies dans le but d\u2019alimenter et d\u2019enrichir la conception de services et de produits. Il travaille avec des designers, ing\u00e9nieurs et responsables de la strat\u00e9gie pour d\u00e9tailler en quoi ces \u00e9tudes impliquent la conception ou l\u2019avenir du domaine concern\u00e9. Ces missions sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9es pour divers acteurs de l\u2019industrie du jeu vid\u00e9o, des technologies mobiles et ubiquitaires ainsi que sur la ville num\u00e9rique. Ce travail s\u2019articule \u00e9galement autour de missions prospectives concernant l\u2019exploration du futur des technologies ludiques et urbaines. Apr\u00e8s une formation en sciences cognitives \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lyon, il a obtenu un Master \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve et une th\u00e8se \u00e0 l\u2019Ecole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne en interaction homme-machine. Il est \u00e9galement responsable \u00e9ditorial de LIFT, conf\u00e9rence internationale sur l\u2019innovation et les changements technologiques qui a lieu chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve et S\u00e9oul (<a href=\"http:\/\/liftconference.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/liftconference.com<\/a>). Il enseigne \u00e9galement dans diverses universit\u00e9s et \u00e9coles. Il intervient r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement dans des conf\u00e9rences internationales telles que O\u2019Reilly\u2019s Etech, Reboot, PicNic, GDC, Google, Design Engaged, Nokia, Cisco, Mobile Monday, etc., et blogue \u00e0 Pasta and Vinegar (<a href=\"http:\/\/liftlab.com\/think\/nova\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/liftlab.com\/think\/nova<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Nicolas Nova is both researcher and the editorial manager of the LIFT conferences. Nicolas\u2019 research is split between user experience studies and foresight research. He runs user studies that aim at uncovering people\u2019s behavior when using technologies to turn them into insights for designers, engineers and marketers (recommendations, constraints, ideas, inspiration, limits). His work in foresight concentrates on scanning\/analysis of signals about the future of various technologies. In particular, he watches the underlying factors, needs and motivations that shape the diffusion of technologies.\u00a0 The domains he covers range from mobile\/urban\/location-based applications to tangible and gestural interactions, social computing and gaming.\u00a0 His blog is about future technologies\/practices and their implications (<a href=\"http:\/\/liftlab.com\/think\/nova\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/liftlab.com\/think\/nova<\/a>). One can think of it as a compendium of material he runs across and that he finds interesting, challenging, relevant to his user experience work or simply intriguing.\u00a0 Nicolas has a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL, Lausanne) where he also worked as a research scientist at the Media and Design Lab. Elle a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 son travail dans de nombreuses conf\u00e9rences et festivals sur le plan international.<\/p>\n<p><em>Lalya Gaye (D\u00e5nk! Collective, G\u00f6teborg, Sweden) is a freelance HCI\/Interaction Design researcher and teacher who works in multidisciplinary projects at the convergence of art, technology, and design. Her prototyping-based research explores potentials of ubiquitous computing for everyday life aesthetic activities, and focuses in particular on locative media and mobile music technology. She also works in various art projects centered on urban public space and audio experimentations, and she organizes cross-disciplinary sound-oriented workshops and small festivals. She received a B.Sc. in Physics at the University of Geneva, a M.Sc.Eng. in Electroacoustics at KTH in Stockholm, worked several years at the Future Applications Lab, Viktoria Institute. She now works as a freelancer and is currently a guest lecturer in the Interaction Design program at the IT-University in G\u00f6teborg, while finishing a Ph.D. thesis in Applied Information Technology at the University of G\u00f6teborg. She has presented her work at various international conferences, festivals and in various journals. Il con\u00e7oit des espaces physiques avec les logiciels ou syst\u00e8mes qui leur donnent vie. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 chercheur invit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Interaction Design Institute Ivrea (Italie), artiste en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 l\u2019International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (Japon) et a \u00e9galement travaill\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis, au Royaume-Uni et en Malaisie. Il est laur\u00e9at 2008 du Design of the Year Award (interactive) du Design Museum (Royaume-Uni), du Sciart Wellcome Trust Award, d\u2019une subvention de la Fondation Daniel Langlois pour l\u2019art, la science et la technologie, du Swiss Creation Prize, Belluard Bollwerk International, du Prix d\u2019excellence du Japan Media Arts Festival et du Grand prix de l\u2019Asie Digital Art Awar.<\/p>\n<p><em>Usman Haque\u2028, director of Haque Design + Research (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.haque.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.haque.co.uk<\/a>), has created responsive environments, interactive installations, digital interface devices and mass-participation performances. His skills include the design of both physical spaces and the software and systems that bring them to life. He has been guest researcher at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy, artist-in-residence at the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences, Japan and has also worked in the USA, UK and Malaysia. As well as directing the work of Haque Design + Research, he taught in the Interactive Architecture Workshop at the Bartlett School of Architecture, London until 2005.
